The Seventh Generation Challenge and Giveaway ends 12-24

With a family of 8 we do alot of laundry.  Since we aren't rich and cant afford the expensive detergents unless they are on sale and I have a coupon, I tend to buy cheaper  ones but I wont buy just any because I will spend a little more for my clothes to look and feel cleaner and to smell cleaner. But just recently I learned about optical brighteners.  These chemicals are added to the typical laundry detergent in order to trick the consumer into perceiving brighter, whiter looking clothing.  Scientists say that the additives can cause allergic reaction, are toxic to wildlife and pollute our water. We my daughter and her severe allergies and eczema I am not gonna take chances on and chemicals harming her.
If you’ve ever seen a white shirt glow under a black light, then you have “seen” optical brighteners with your own two eyes. With an green laundry detergent like Seventh Generation, you can say no to the glow.  Their products do not contain these optical brighteners, they’re non-toxic, hypo-allergenic and biodegradable.  I took the Seventh Generation challenge to see if there really was a difference between my current laundry detergent and Seventh Generation laundry detergent. I was hesitant because did I want to know or will I be happy. Well curiosity killed the cat so I had to test it out. I couldn't get my camera to cooperate with me to get the glowing effect that the black light did so I didn't post it but if I could it would of be cool lol!

I was surprised to see the difference between the two. The Seventh Generation washed shirt didn't glow even a tiny bit, Nothing! My original detergent well I glowed. Not as much as I was expecting but it still glowed. So then I tried a cheaper generic detergent and it blew me away. It glowed like no other under the black light. It was kind of cool until I started thinking about those chemical being against my kids bodies all day every day. Well that proved to me Seventh Generations was a detergent I was going to have to start buying. It left my clothes clean, smelling great and no chemicals attached. So if your looking for a safe great detergent for your laundry check out Seventh Generation products and don't forget to make sure you click here to print a $1.00 off coupon.
We are giving one lucky reader a Prize pack of Seventh Generation Laundry supplies. Yay!
