Have you ever?

I am so having a day today. Have you ever had one of those days? You know what I am talking about. Those days that seem to go on forever and all you do is run like a chicken with your head chopped off. For the last two days I been having that kind of day.

I have done a total of 10 loads of laundry washed , dried and folded. I swept the bathrooms and kitchen. I mopped them too. I scrubbed the kitchen counters and table. I did dishes. I vaccumed the living rooms and bedrooms. I took out garbage. I even got some grocery shopping done. Yesterday I got 2 reviews done. Today I went to my post op appointment. I got the kids to clean their rooms, ya that was fun! Now I turn around and look and it feels like I havent got anything done! What the heck have I been doing for the last 2 days??

Maybe its the weather or that time of month but I am moody, frustrated, cranky, and extremely tired. Plus add in my 2 year old does NOT sleep through the night still and she woke up 4 times last night. I feel like my house is gross and unorganized. The kids keep making it messy again and my hubby called me OCD yesterday which kind of hurt my feelings but I guess it was cause I was cleaning up after him as he was making a mess which he does often and doesnt put things back but he says I didnt give him a chance too well what about the last 100 times?????

I guess I am in one of those funks. I dont like the way I look. I want to lose at least 10 pounds. I want my house organized and neat but I want to move. I want money to pay over due bills. I want a lawyer that dont cost 4000 dollars to help with my oldest twos custody case. I am sick of everytime I turn around something happens. Maybe I am just trying too hard or just setting my goals too high. I dont know but somethings got to give really. At least bring on 70 and 80 degree weather and green grass and flowers. Its cold outside and windy.

Anyone have these kind of days?????

Tasty Tuesday

Overnight French Toast Recipe

Ingrediants:
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans, walnuts or raisins
1 1/2 loaves French bread or baguettes
3 cups milk
12 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), melted
2 Tablespoon sugar
2 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Direction:
Spray a 9 X 13-inch baking dish with vegetable spray and set aside.

In a small saucepan under low-medium heat, melt 1 stick butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, honey and 1 teaspoon cinnamon together and stir until blended and sugar is dissolved. Stir in nuts or raisins. Remove from heat, and spread in bottom of the baking dish.

Slice bread into 1-inch thick slices, take the whole loaf in your hands and place it in the pan on top of the sticky goo. It'll look like the bread is still in the form of a loaf, only sliced.

In a large bowl with an electric mixer, or a hand whisk, whip the milk, eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, nutmeg and butter until mixed well and frothy.

Pour the milk and egg mixture slowly over the bread, opening up the slices to allow the liquid to get in between the bread. Press down to make sure all the bread is wet. Cover with plastic wrap, and press down once more to assure all the bread is soaked. Refrigerate overnight.

Next morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, mix 2 Tablespoons sugar, 2 Tablespoons brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Remove the plastic wrap and sprinkle the Overnight French Toast with the cinnamon sugar.

Bake for 45 - 60 minutes or until bubbly and the middle of the French toast is done. Do not over bake. It'll still be a little jiggly in the center.

Remove from oven and let cool 15 minutes before serving. Be careful, as this Overnight French Toast stays hot for quite a while!

Cut and serve with pure maple syrup and whipped cream if desired.

Serves 8 - 12 or more. This recipe can be divided in half and baked in an 8 X 8-inch pan

Photoworks review

I love any product that I can personalize with my kids pictures. I am a sucker for things like that! Photoworks has alot of great stuff to chose from and everything you can personalize with a photo you love. Thats awesome!

I received a photo keychain and a photo pendant from Photoworks. Now I love keychains so this is special to me. It is a pretty tough made keychain. Now anytime I go anywhere my kids are right there with me on my keys. I love it!

Photobucket
The photo Pendant was special because it had my kids picture on it but really wasnt up to my standards. It was a little plain jane for me and the picture was really blurry. I am not sure if it was cause my picture was so big and shrinking it made it fuzzy or what. It was well made though and you dont have to worry about the picture coming off or fading. It was tough and wont break easily which is great for those little fingers that grab at anything dangly haha. This is now put in my special box to save forever. Just wish I would of used another picture or they would of told be during production that is was fuzzy so I could of sent a different photo in.

Photoworks has everything from photobooks which are really popular right now to jewelry and blankets. So if your looking for a great place to buy a unique one of a kind present for birthdays, Christmas, baby showers, or etc this is the place to go. You are bound to find something you love and they will love also.

Belly Buds review

As you heard before I love the idea of music and sounds for the unborn baby. I know the benefits and how well it really does work. So when Belly Buds asked me to do a review for my niece we were excited to test them out. I also found out my other niece is expecting too so she now wants to try these too.

Belly Buds are little speakers that stick to your stomach and attach to your Ipod or MP3 player. The transmit the music through your stomach to your baby. You can even play your voice or spouse's voice to baby too. This is so beneficial to you and your baby. It is a great bonding experience for you and your baby. Belly Buds are easily put on and off. They can be worn descreetly or in plain view. They are worn and keep you free to move around and get things done. Music played during second and third trimester are shown to increase movement of baby.

Belly Buds are a must have for all pregnant women. They make great pregnancy, or baby shower presents for yourself and friends or loved ones. So head over and check them out. You will be glad you did!

Baby shower giveaway- Glow Baby's First Foods ends 4-9

With a new baby in the house we have enough to worry about. So when its time to introduce new foods can be a very stressful time. Trying to remember what you introduced, when, and how much. You learn from doctors when you start food you are suppose to introduce one food at a time for 3 to 4 days then introduce another one.  This is because of allergic reactions. They can be as simple as a rash and go to serious reactions. Well Glow Baby has made that stressful time easier on us with their new Baby's 1st food journal.

Baby's 1st foods Journal is a great size to fit in diaper bag. You have a calander where you can write what they had for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. You also have a easy chart to write down and check off all reaction to each foods they had with the first three tries. This is so handy to have. I need to get one for me. I know my baby is 2 but with her allergies to milk and diary and oats. This would be a great way for me to keep track of what she ate in case.

Glow Baby's babies first foods is great for doctor visits so you can let them know what and how much they had. Its also great for care givers to let them know what they like and dislike and if there are any allergies. There is even a contact page for numbers and etc. So this little book is a life saver when it comes to keeping track of your babys eating habits and more. A definite must have for all moms with babies.

So head over and get your Glow Baby's First Foods Journal now. You will be glad you did and you will absolutely love it. It will make a awesome baby shower gift and it will be one of those thing other people might not think of getting but definitely one of my favorite things. My niece loves hers and thinks it is a great idea and so handy!

Glow Baby is giving one of my lucky readers a Baby's first foods journal. Awesome!

Wow what crazy days

What a long day yesterday and another one today.  Yesterday I had to food shop then came home put it all away then turned around and picked my son up from school to go to the Dermatologist. Then dropped my 5 year old off at Headstart. Then ran to the Doctors where they looked at my son's. who is 9, mole on his cheek. The doctor thought it was a little weird discolorated so he decided to right there in his office give my son a shot to numb his face then cut and remove the mole by making a oval shape incision. Mind you my son was a nervous wreck and this mole was right at his cheek bone. They removed it cauterized it then put 10 stitches in it. I was a nervous wreck because my son has Von Willebrands Disease which is a type of Hemophilia (bleeding disorder). Lucky he bleed some but not too bad. He bruised up pretty good but what do you expect. He did awesome didnt cry or anything. I was proud. My 2 and 3 year old sat there and watched the whole precedure haha wow. They sent it off for a biopsy to make sure no cancer we find out in a week.

After that had to pick up hubby from work. Then go grab the other two from school then got home and took apart my baby girls crib and set up her big girl bed. She now has a Tinkerbell bed and  her own room with all her own toys but now I have to get pictures or posters for her poor bare walls lol. She loves her new bed. She is growing up way too fast. After that it was get my 5 year old from school and put money in the bank so things dont bounce.  Came home and made yummy homemade loaded nachos. Then got kids to bed and relaxed.

Then 12 midnight today started with my Hubby in severe pain in his stomach. Thinking possible appendix we rushed him to ER at 2 AM . After 2 hours found out it was a kidney stone. His first one. I have had many so I felt for him. At 4 AM they sent him home with strainer and pain meds and wait til it passes. Now today I got to go to store for poster board for my daughter report and get diapers again. Then drop papers off at lawyers office 25 minutes away along with normal picking and dropping kids off all day. Plus my son has his first Soccer practice of the Spring session tonight. I am running on 2 hours of sleep. I have a feeling this is gonna be a long day!!

Baby shower / easter giveaway - Baby Egg Nest Ends 4-9

Now if you are looking for the cutest Baby shower gift around easter time or for that special Easter baby gift well look no farther because Baby Bunch has come up with Baby Egg Nests. They are adorable little nests with three little eggs made out of socks and a flower printed chick sachet. Such a neat idea especially since spring and Easter time seem like the time the baby stork drops off the most babies lol.

We recieved the Pink and blue set of the nests and we love them. They are adorable wraped with a blue and brown or pink and brown ribbone. The nest are made of real twigs and colored a golden color. I love this because I am gonna keep these and put plastic eggs in them for a cute easter decoration for years to come. The eggs are made of 3 pair of socks that say fit 0-12 months. My daughter just turned 2 and they probably still fit her but her feet are small. My oldest on the other had these would have fit her at birth her feet were huge.

The cutest part I think is the adorable little chick sachet that has a light fragrant smell to it. It smells fresh but not overpowering. This is something I will keep with the nest for easter decorations because it sits so perfectly on the eggs like a real chicken. I love the creative idea of the Baby Egg Nests . Definitely a great unique present for baby showers or easter. So head over and get yours now they come in blue or pink.

Baby Bunch is giving one of my lucky readers both the pink and blue Baby Egg Nests sets. That is awesome!

Peek a boo clips review

We all like to have a little privacy while breast feeding but some of us cant afford the special cover ups and neat inventions out there. Well thats where Peek A Boo Clips come in. They are a simple adjustable strap with clips on both ends kind of like a pants suspender lol. It make a ordinary blanket into a perfect cover up for privacy while breast feeding or just nap time while your out.

We got one Peek A Boo Clips for my niece for when baby Conner comes. She loves it it is small so you can easily put it into the diaper bag and have it when you need it. I holds on good so no slipping off and revealing yourself. These are so handy and so great. I think everyone should have one breast feeding or not. We go out side alot over the summer and these are perfect while baby is being held or in stomach carrier or even in stroller to make perfect shade for baby. I really suggest check these out. They make awesome baby shower gifts!

I heart Faces- week 12 focusing on angles

This is mine angle is from overhead!

Baby Shower day 15- Tommee Tippee ends 4-9

Whether you bottle feed or breast feed bottles are a must have for other to feed the baby too plus it gives you some freedom. There are so many bottles to chose from and really there is no right or wrong choices. With my oldest two I used just plastic gerber  or parent choice bottles nothing special. With my last three I used the platex drop in bag bottles. It was just what my kids liked and was easier for me.  I did for my last three deal with Reflux and all so I tried out a few bottles that was supposed to help some did some didnt. I like to find bottles with the more natural shaped nipples too especially if you are breast feeding too. It makes transition alot easier! So when I heard about Tommee Tippee bottles I was interesting in learning more.

We got the Closer to Nature bottles and immediately my daughter was curious. The nipples were the same size pretty much as the bag bottles which we loved. I liked the little vent on the nipple to release air and keep baby less colicy and gassy. That is a very good thing. I liked the small size. I honestly thought they were 4 or 5 oz bottles and here they were 9 oz bottles. I liked that. We liked the shape of the bottle. The middle is more narrow for easy gripping for small hands. The best part is Tommee Tippee bottles are BPA Free and Phthalate free. So far we have been pleasantly pleased with these bottles!

Tommee Tippee has more then just bottles. They have sippy cups, feeding supplies, bibs, and sterilization things. They all everything you need. So head over and check them out!

Tommee Tippee is giving one reader a closer to nature bottle.

Baby Shower day 14- Tiny Soles ends 4-9

With every new baby comes new shoes. Really it does! I love buying little cute shoes for my babies. Not only are they good for protecting their cute little toes but they keep them warm and stylish. I know most people dont think about shoes until they start walking but it is best to train them when they are too little to take them off. This I learned the hard way my youngest loves shoes but never keeps them on her feet. My oldest I had shoes on her daily from birth and she always left her shoes on. So I had to find the cutest and best made shoes for my soon to be great nephew Conner. I came acrossed Tiny Soles and I was immediately in love.

They had a huge selection even just for the 0-6 months section. They had all the top brands and great prices. They even had shoes for my kids that fit even up to my 11 year old. That is great. I must really stress that they have a huge I mean huge selection of great shoes. It took me forever to find the perfect pair to get for Conner. I know where I am doing school shoe shopping this year!

I ended up getting the Pediped Kyle in Choc brown/khaki. These are so cute and well made. I know they will fit him a long time and they will last. I love the flexible soles and the hand stitched seam around the sole. The are so cushiony and look so flipping comfortable that I know Conner will love them. My favorite is the look of these shoes. They are suede and leather and look so sharp. They are great everyday shoe but will be perfect dress up shoes too. My niece loves them and cant wait to be able to use them and show them off.

So if you are looking to buy shoes for your kiddos for spring, easter, or school or whatever the reason you definitely should check out Tiny Soles. You will find something you love and at a awesome low price.

Tiny Soles is giving one of my lucky readers a $30 gift certificate to buy your favorite shoes.
