Catty stacks- Cat houses review

Have you seen the prices for cat furniture out there? Oh my once we got our cat almost a year go I began looking for toys and furniture for him to play with but I seen the prices and said forget that. My cat Buddy loves boxes. He is always in one or trying to get in one lol. So when I came across Catty Stacks I knew these were the ones for us.
What are Catty Stacks? Well they are recycled cardboard boxes designed especially for cats. They have cut out holes in them and stack and connect together to make small or huge towers. They are Eco friendly using recycled cardboard and soy based inks and they can be recycles as well when you are done with them. Also since they are cardboard they are actually affordable. We got the chance to test a 3 box set out with our cat and no faster than we had it put it together he was curled up inside of it and on top of it. He loved waiting for the kids to come past it so he could stay safe inside and reach his paw out to grab the kids haha. He has loved hiding in these to stay away from the kids for his cat nap and I don't blame him. These are roomy and easy to put together and move around. They are pretty sturdy too. They hold up to 40lbs and even with my kids leaning on them trying to pull the cat out they have not even bent. I cant wait to buy more and some tubes to expand it and make him so big fun tower out of them haha.
So if you have a cat that loves laying on things or in boxes you should definitely check out Catty Stacks. You will be glad you did with the money you saved and your cat will be glad you did too. So head over and check out how awesome these really are!

Help Levi's raise money for Blue Plant charity

Last Saturday, Katie Spotz and her biking partner Sam Williams set forth to break a world record by biking 3000 miles in less than eight days for Ride4Water — that’s 1.3 times as long as the Tour de France and in one-sixth the time. Their journey, with the help of Levi's, also aimed to raise money for Blue Planet, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing safe drinking water to those without.

Here's the video that shows some of what Katie endured on her ride. After fracturing her pelvis, which forced her to use a handcycle, and dealing with a serious crash which landed her in the hospital, the race took on a whole new meaning. For Katie, it turned into something greater -

People can still help Katie and her team reach their goal of $100,000 by visiting their crowdrise donation page at http:/crowdrise.com/ride4water. Levi's is also donating $1 for each tweet that includes the #Ride4Water hashtag for up to $5,000 in addition to their sponsorship, and we'd love if your readers could help spread the word. We think it's a great story of the inspiring American spirit and perseverance of Katie.

Educational Insights Fraction Formula game review and giveaway ends 7-22

3 of my kids doing alot of math in school and most of that math now involves Fractions. Now from when I was in school I know how tough fractions can get so I wanted learning fractions to be fun and unstressful for them so when I got the chance to review Educational Insights Fraction Formula game I jumped at the chance because what funner way to learn then to play games at least for my kids anyways!
So when we got the game we sat down to play it. They were afraid it was gonna be hard but once we got playing it and figured out how it works they were having a blast. To me it was like playing 21 the card game. The whole object of the game is to pull cards and find the fraction piece to put in your tube to fill it up to the number 1 without going over. The person that gets the closest without going over is the winner. We played this like I swear about 30 times in a hour lol but it was fun and they were learning their fractions and how to add them up. That was great! So if you have kids that are learning fractions you definitely should check this game out. You and your children will be glad you did! Plus check out all the other fun things Educational Insights has!

Fraction Formula
It’s a race to “1” with this 4-player fraction game!
Draw a card and find the corresponding fizzy fraction tile.
Drop the tile into your cylinder.
“Hold” it you think you’re as close t o 1 as you’ll get without going over or draw another card if you think you can get closer by adding another fraction tile.
The player who gets closest to 1 wins the round!
Grades 3+/Ages 8+

Educational Insights Every Day Uses Rock & card set review & Giveaway ends 7-15

My son is in love with collecting rocks and gems. Well so are my other kids but my son tries to study them and remember what kind of rocks they are and all. He is going to be my little Geologist when he grows up lol. So when we got the chance to try out Educational Insights Every Day Uses Rock & card set you bet my son was so excited!

Everyday Uses Rock & Card Set
Identify various rocks and minerals and correlate them to their real-life uses with this hands-on rock and card set. Each double-sided card features a photo of a rock in the set, pictures of the way it is used in everyday life, and fun, kid-friendly facts.

My son couldn't wait to open this open and learn more about rocks. The cards were awesome at telling and showing him what rocks are what and their uses. I love the little facts! He played with this for hours and still plays with it daily. He goes outside and does a Geo dig around our neighborhood looking for special rocks. We loved that it came with some rocks as well. I think since we have had this set his rock collection has tripled in size lol and he has had quite in depth conversation with friends and family over rocks haha. I love it and so does he.
So if you have a rock lover in your family you should definitely check out the Every Day Uses Rock & card set for them. They will love it! Plus check out everything else Educational Insights has too. They have all kinds of things your kids will love and learn from!

Fiber one review and giveaway ends 7-15

Do you struggle to eat right? Do you struggle to get your daily amount of Fiber? I know me and my family don't eat the recommended amount of daily fiber and I am supposed to be on a high fiber diet as it is. I have tried to eat the fiber containing foods but its really hard to eat as much as you need to get your Fiber amounts. I also tried fiber supplements and couldn't swallow the pills and the drinks and cookies are gross and blah. So when we got to try out a new way to get our daily fiber you bet I jumped at the chance!
The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans say we should consume 25-38 grams of fiber daily, and that the average American consumes only 15 grams. With Fiber One cereals offering at least 30 percent of the Daily Value per serving. (Some Fiber One cereals offer more than 50 percent!) Fiber One Original® and flavored varieties like Honey Clusters®, Raisin Bran Clusters®, Caramel Delight®, and Shredded Wheat®, make fiber taste good and help to give you a jump start on your fiber intake each day.

I received 5 boxes of Fiber One cereal (Original®, Honey Clusters®, Raisin Bran Clusters®, Caramel Delight®, and Shredded Wheat ®) to enjoy with my family. Now normally I am not a huge cereal person but summer time is my exception. A nice cold bowl of cereal is perfect any time of the day especially when it is hot outside!  The shredded wheat looked the best to me because I love frosted shredded wheat lol. It was crunchy and tasty and sweet just like the other brand I like but this one was better because I knew it had more fiber and that is a plus for me.

The next one we tried was the Caramel Delight. Now who doesn't love caramel? MMmm yummy. This one reminded me of the cinnamon toast crunch kind of. It was delish! This one was my kids favorite! After that box was gone which was like 2 days lol we tried the Raisin Bran because I am a huge fan of raisin bran cereals. I cant get enough of raisins haha. This was just like the other ones very tasty and yummy and hard to tell all that Fiber was even in it! After this one we tried the Honey Clusters and the Original. The honey clusters were a hit. little sweet but crunchy and yummy. The Original definitely looked unappealing to us but we tried it anyways lol. It was surprisingly tasty and crunchy and despite the funky look it was yummy. We also used the Original to make like a treat cookie out of them and mmmm so yummy and lots of fiber so that is also good!

Overall we loved all of them and I am definitely gonna pick up more. I am so glad we found a easier way to get our daily fiber. So if you haven't tried them yet you should. You will be glad you did and so will your body!  Be sure to visit Fiber One online for more information on healthy living and additional ways to incorporate fiber into your diet. Also, be sure to check out the Fiber One Facebook page and get involved in the conversation. In addition, by clicking here you can download a printable coupon for $0.75 off the purchase of any (1) Fiber One cereal today!

I am giving one lucky reader all 5 boxes of Fiber One cereals I tried yay!

Rizzoli & Isles Best Friends and work together

Being a mom to 6 kids 12 and under I barely ever have friendship time. I mean I wish I had more best friends and maybe Ill find that special friend someday but for now I am mommy and wife and that's it lol. It wasn't always that way though. Back in high school I had many friends but two main best friends that I could tell anything to. We were very different personalities and we had are time we disagreed but we were always there to back each other up and be a shoulder to cry on or partners in crime. I miss those days and hope I have those opportunities again. It is rare to find some one that compliments you and be that person you trust everything to and still have a blast with and take your mind of things and that's what my BFFs did for me. Our friendship was alot like the relationship between Rizzoli & Isles from TNT. Both women are smart, strong, and competent women, but work so well together. They let down their defenses when they are together and just get the job done while still being compassionate towards each other. Maybe that's one reason I love the show so much and get into it. So if you haven't checked out Rizzoli & Isles you should!Get all 10 episodes of the first season on DVD! Available for pre-order here: http://bit.ly/mt2Hpo

My daughter who will be turning 9 in July wants to have a Hawaiian Luau for her birthday party. Now I found all the party supplies at Dollar Tree but now my hard thing is to figure out Hawaiian Luau Party Ideas and Luau Party Games for the party. I have decided on Hawaiian pizza and Hawaiian punch and Hawaiian chips for the food and obviously dress code swimwear lol. I love I can print just the amount I need so no worries about not having enough and it costing more for more. That is awesome. I love it!

So if you are having a Hawaiian Luau party you have to check out these Luau Party Games. Also if you sign up to their newsletter you can get their E-Book and get Moo-Luau Mad Libs, FREE Luau Invitations, and a coupon for 10 percent off the Luau pack, plus lots of Luau party planning tips and recipes. J&D's newest products review

We love BBQ's and cooking. I love seasonings when I cook on my meats, potatoes, eggs, well honestly everything I make I use seasonings lol. So when we had the awesome opportunity to try out J&D's newest products Bacon Rub and Ketchup salt you bet we had to try them.
The Bacon rub was awesome on our steaks, chicken, and pork chops. We even used them on our ribs and meatloaf. It is delicious! It gives it a slight smoky taste with the yummy taste of bacon and really who doesn't love bacon. We cant get enough of this!
The ketchup salt was interesting. My kids love ketchup with everything so this was great for fries, potatoes, eggs, meatloaf and more. It is salt so you don't need alot but it gives a yummy ketchup flavoring. I mixed this into my homemade chicken nugget breading mix and then breaded my chicken with it and it was awesome! Really you needed no sauce for these chicken nuggets they were that flavorful. This was a definite must have too.
If you never tried J&D products you should. They have many different products and all that I have tried are absolutely yummy. So head over and check out all they have to offer and try their newest stuff too. You will be glad you did especially for BBQ season!

Rubbermaid's newest line Glass review and giveaway ends 7-8

Being a family of 8 you would think we go through alot of food in our house but in all reality we don't. I always have so much leftovers. That's why I am in love with Rubbermaid products! I have lots of Tupperware from Rubbermaid but now they have glass storage containers. I got the awesome opportunity to try out the the glass containers and I was so excited!

I couldn't wait to use these when I got them. What I loved about them were not only were they awesome storage containers but you can use them in the microwave, and the oven up to 425 degrees. That is great. I use glass cookware alot so to go from the oven to the fridge and saves me time with clean up and dishes. I also like that the lids snap together with the other lids so they stay in place and easy to find. I also love that they nicely stack neatly together both the containers and lids. I loved using these to make baked pasta because I could prepare it all in the glass container and then pop it into the oven and then pop the left overs into the freezer for another night all in this glass bowl. I loved that! I also like the lids fit tightly and were leak proof. The best part they are BPA Free and dishwasher safe.
So if you are like me and always on the run and a small amount of time for cooking  and cleaning then you have to check out Rubbermaid's new Glass set. You will be glad you did! They will save you time, money from not using as many dishes and washing as many dishes. So check them out and here is a COUPON as well if you do head out and get them.

We are also giving one lucky reader a set of Rubbermaids new glass containers as well yay!

Rizzoli & Isles Season One Now on DVD

Being a mom I dont watch alot of TV. When I do want to sit down and enjoy a show there really isnt anything on that I want to watch any more other than reality shows and I will admit I do watch some but I miss TV shows with story lines and plots. So when I came across Rizzoli & Isles I was immediately drawn in.

Rizzoli & Isles, a TNT drama series starring Angie Harmon as police detective Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander as medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles, is based on the Rizzoli/Isles series of mystery novels by Tess Gerritsen. Tess was quoted as saying that the adaptation was a dream come true.

I love suspense and drama shows. Honestly I never read the books but after watching the show a few times and knowing it all started from a book intrigues me. I think of my blog and my life and if it were ever turned into a show what it would be. I honestly dont think it would go far but it would be a comedy and drama for sure. I could see my life as a kid and growing into a teen and my teen years that would be funny and scary lol. Then into wife and mom years now and raising 6 kids as a SAHM and blogger/photographer. There would definitely always have action and drama haha. I think to make a show great it really does need some history and a awesome storyline or else nobody is gonna watch it. I think the writers of Rizzoli & Isles did a great jon and I cant wait to see more next season!

If you want to see Rizzoli & Isles check out 1st season on DVD. You can pre-order your copy of Rizzoli & Isles Season One on DVD Here today and catch all 10 'must see' episodes.

Pampers Launches its Little Miracle Mission & giveaway ends 7-8

This day and age I barely see people helping others which is very sad. Nobody takes the time to stop and help their fellow man. What happened to pay it forward? I try to teach my kids to help others and to expect nothing in return. We help many different charities through out the year like the Utah food bank, Toys for Tots, candy for our troops, the Hemophilia group of Utah, and multiple sclerosis foundation and more. So when Pampers asked Mommies Angels to be part of their Pay it Forward program we were excited.
We decided to use the $50 gift card to make a gift basket if stuff that is needed for the Child's Hope Foundation. A Child's Hope Foundation provides orphaned and abandoned children in developing countries a healthy, caring environment while seeking a loving family for them. This is such a awesome program and we loved helping them. I am still getting and collected even more stuff but so far we have got diapers, wipes, toiletries, basic medicines and more to help them stock up on their most needed items. I had my kids searching around for items for the box and they were having a blast knowing they were helping other little kids. It felt good knowing my kids were learning a great lesson. I want to thank Pampers little miracles for letting us share this experience as a family and a great learning experience to start paying it forward. I believe if you do good things for others good things will come your way. This is something I want to insteal in my children.

I also wanted to let you know that everyone can easily make a difference by logging on to Pampers Facebook Page by hitting ‘like’ and then going to the Miracle Missions tab and committing to Mission 2 by clicking “I Want To Pledge.” Once more than 2,500 people pledge, Pampers will respond by giving baby showers to expectant mothers nationwide just in time for Father’s Day. As a side note, anyone who pledges is automatically entered to win a year’s supply worth of Pampers diapers and wipes (and that can definitely help someone in a big way!). Also if you would like to help the Child's Hope Foundation let me know it could be money or donations of some of the things they need you can send it to them or me and I will make sure it get to them Thanks!

Mommies Angels and Pampers want to continue to pay it forward by giving one of my readers a $50 gift card to use to pay it forward to use for whatever you feel is a good deed in your town yay!

Cars 2 coming to Theaters June 24th 2011 and Prize pack giveaway ends 7-1

Movie Synopsis:
Star race car Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) take their friendship to exciting new places in “Cars 2” when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Mater finds himself torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret mission orchestrated by master British super spy Finn McMissile (voice of Michael Caine) and the stunning rookie field spy Holley Shiftwell (voice of Emily Mortimer). Mater’s action-packed journey leads him on an explosive chase through the streets of Japan and Europe, trailed by his friends and watched by the whole world. The fast-paced fun includes a colorful new all-car cast, complete with menacing villains and international racing competitors.

John Lasseter returns to the driver’s seat to direct this follow-up to his 2006 Golden Globe®-winning “Cars.” “Cars 2” is co-directed by Brad Lewis, producer of the Oscar®-winning film “Ratatouille,” and produced by visual effects industry veteran Denise Ream (associate producer, “Up”; visual effects executive producer, “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith”). The film hits the track on June 24, 2011, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D in select theaters.

Smart Lab Toys- Blast-Off Rocket Racer and giveaway ends 7-1

I love finding toys that are also learning experiences for my kids. My son has always been really into cars from birth on. He is a typical boy lol! So when I came across Smart Labs Toys and their Blast Off Rocket Racer I immediately thought this is something my son would love.

What is theBlast-Off Rocket Racer? Well it is a science experiment! This is the companies description of it-
Power up your Rocket Racer with the classic combination of baking soda and vinegar and let it go! Includes a build-your-own mini rocket racer, featuring sleek aerodynamic design and large wheels for speed. The racer body is see-through for a closer look at the chemical reaction in action. It also comes with a stomp-pad launcher so kids control the moment of blast off. It's available for $19.99 at  Smart Lab Toys, Amazon.com and other select retailers.
My overall opinion of it was that it looked fun. I remember doing things like this in school and we loved doing them. Me , My hubby and all 6 kids of the kids went outside to play with the racer. We brought baking soda, lime juice, vinegar and soda to experiment with. Now I must say this is a little dangerous for the little ones and we made them sit way back. It was easy to figure out what do do by reading the instructions. you put the baking soda it the one side and the liquid in the car then screw it together and give it a little shake and blast off. The first time we didn't get it mixed well and it only went maybe a foot or so. The second time we used lime juice and let it mix a little better and it exploded off and went about 30 feet and then hit my bush to come to a stop but it probably would of went another 20 to 30 feet if my bushes weren't in the way. my 6 year old did get splattered with the lime juice concoction which was a little funny but we had a blast with this. I do recommend a parent do this with the kids because it is very powerful but a great learning experience and lots of fun!
