Monte Carlo coming to Bluray and DVD on Oct.18th

To celebrate the upcoming release of the family film starring Selena Gomez Monte Carlo to Blu-ray and DVD Oct. 18 I wanted to share two very cute postcards you can click on them, save them and print them.
Also I wanted to share a fun little article that kind of goes with the movie and help bring back fun memories of other great movies.

Top 5 Sibling Rivalry Films

Your chance to win the DVD debuting Oct. 18!
In the Selena Gomez flick, Monte Carlo, Grace and Meg are forced to travel across the world together to bond as stepsisters. The two are not happy with the arrangement, but go along with the deal for their parents. Here we explore the best movies about sibling rivalry and family clashes.
Selena Gomez stars in Monte Carlo as Grace, a recent college graduate who is ready to live out her idea of a perfect vacation with BFF Emma (Katie Cassidy) to Paris. After several twists and turns, including her unhappy stepsister Meg (Leighton Meester) joining them on the trip, Grace falls into a fairytale of her very own in the French Riviera.

1)    America’s Sweethearts
America’s Sweethearts tells the story of one sibling’s position in the limelight and the other’s position in her shadow. When ‘American’s Sweethearts’ Gwen Harrison (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Eddie Thomas (John Cusack) separate after Gwen is discovered to be having an affair, Eddie has a nervous breakdown. Gwen’s sister and assistant Kiki is used to being insignificant but Eddie is drawn to her. The story comes to a head when Gwen declares that they are back together to look good in front of the press, but Eddie does not go along with her story and his true feelings are revealed.
2) My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Toula (Nia Vardalos) is 30 and the only woman in her family who has not settled down with a Greek husband and made a family. Instead, she is stuck working in the family restaurant and feels inadequate compared to her seemingly perfect sister, Athena. Her mother Maria encourages her to take computer classes at college, enabling her to work in a travel agency. It is there that she meets Ian (John Corbett), a handsome English teacher. After dating for a while they decide to get married, to the dismay of Toula’s family. They eventually accept him, but not before he endures Toula’s family’s ‘help’ in more ways than one.
3) 16 Candles
Sam Baker‘s (Molly Ringwald) 16th birthday is completely forgotten by her family as her older sister Ginny is getting married the next day. Things are not helped by her huge crush on the older and more popular Jake Ryan. As if things couldn’t get any worse, without her knowing, a note meant for a friend expressing her love for him has found its way into Jake’s hands. All is not lost in the end, as her family apologizes for forgetting her birthday over her sister’s wedding, and Sam and Jake share a special moment...over 16 candles.
4)                The Parent Trap (1998)
Annie and Hallie (both played by Lindsay Lohan) are twins separated at birth...until their parents unknowingly enroll them both at the same summer camp. After seeing each other’s faces at the same time after a fencing match, a rivalry erupts between them, leading to pranks that eventually get out of hand and cause them both to be isolated from the rest of the camp. It is during this time that they realize they are twins and agree to teach the other how to be like her in order to switch places. They create a plan to split their father from his gold-digger fiancĂ© and reunite their parents.
5)                Monte Carlo
While on vacation with her BFF and stepsister, Grace (Selena Gomez) is mis-identified as British heiress Cordelia Winthrop Scott who is in Monte Carlo for several important appearances. These events are leading up to a huge auction raising money for charity that the spoiled Cordelia must be at, even if Grace must pose as her for the show to go on.

What’s Grace’s stepsister’s name in Monte Carlo?
o   Meg
o   Anne
o   Tracey

The face the common teenage and some adult problems but they always figure them out and find songs that fit them. I think that is so cool. My oldest also loves watching the show as well as my hubby who I turned into a Gleek as well. Glee is fun and entertaining. So if you haven't seen Glee yet you definitely should check it out. 2 new Goosebump movies out just in time for Halloween plus Giveaway ends 10-14

Attack of the Mutant and Goosebumps: Ghost Beach
On DVD September 13, 2011
NR

Synopsis:
With over 300 million books sold, R.L. Stine’s wildly successful children’s stories (www.scholastic.com/goosebumps ) come to life with two all-new terrifying tales. First, Attack of the Mutant includes “Attack of the Mutant Parts 1 & 2” and follows Skipper Matthews and his awesome comic book collection. Skipper’s favorite is The Masked Mutant, the story of an evil, power-mad super villain who is out to gain control of the universe. One day, while lost in a strange part of town, Skipper discovers a building that mysteriously resembles the Mutant’s secret headquarters... a building that magically disappears. Has Skipper read one too many comic books? Or does The Masked Mutant really exist? The DVD also features “Phantom of the Auditorium™,” a frightening story about a young actress who is thrilled after winning the lead in the school play... until the nightmares begin as there is talk of a real phantom who has haunted the auditorium for years.

Next, Ghost Beach includes “The Barking Ghost” and follows Cooper Holmes, a young man who is scared of just about everything. His father says he’s the only kid to scare himself on Halloween! But as he moves into a new house, this time Cooper is not just scared of his own shadow. In “Be Careful What You Wish For,” class klutz Samantha Byrd is the laughingstock of the girls’ basketball team. But now, Samantha has found someone who will grant her three wishes. Too bad she wasn’t more careful as now Sam’s wishes are turning her life into a living nightmare! Lastly, “Ghost Beach” focuses on Jerry, who is thrilled by the prospect of exploring the dark, eerie old cave he discovered down by the beach. When he hears the story of a 300-year-old ghost living inside, Jerry must decide if he will believe the legend or dismiss it as a silly made-up tale.

Watch these latest spooky Goosebumps® stories on September 13… if you dare!

Our Opinion:
My older 3 loved these! Even my son and my nephew had a boys night and ate popcorn and watched these Goose bump movies and absolutely couldn't take their eyes off it. They weren't too scary they said but it kept them very interested. These would make awesome Halloween movies for older kids. I would say 10 and up even though my 7 year old watched them and wasn't too scared with them so could be younger aged as long as they don't scare easily. There is no gore or violence just mainly mystery stuff. I remember reading these books when I was in elementary school and couldn't get enough of them and I am glad my kids get the chance to read and watch some as well. Definitely fun movies.

So if your kids love mystery type movies or your looking for something for your kids for Halloween or a Halloween party then you have to check out these awesome Goose bump movies!

We are giving 1 lucky reader these awesome DVDs yay!

Yandy is the place for Adult Halloween costumes

I don't dress up much for Halloween unless we do a Halloween party at our house. We didn't do one last year so I thought we might do one this year. It is fun to dress up once a year as anything with out being judge because hey it's Halloween and that's the fun part of it. This year I wasn't quite sure what I want to dress up as. So when I got the chance to review a costume from Yandy I couldn't wait to find me something I liked.
Yandy is an online shop that sells lingerie and sexy halloween costumes. Everything is very sexy and stylish! They have a huge selection of costumes and even offer same day shipping, for orders placed before 4 pm PST. They had so many to choose from I still couldn't pick one lol. So I decided since the prices were really reasonable I picked two which was still under the price for one some place else.
I got Sock Hop Sweetie costume because it was a little more conservative that I could wear around my kids but still cute and fun and flirty. I knew my kids would know what it is and it would be a very fun costume. This one came with the dress and the scarf and I love it. It fits perfectly. It is a really made costume as well. Alot better quality then I thought it was going to be. I am very impressed.
The second costume I got was Sugar Plum Fairy but in a lavender. This I thought would be cute and fun as well. This one didn't fit as well as the first one. I should of got a smaller size. The chest area was a little weird on it too. It is a adorable costume and I would of loved it if I got the right size. It came with the wings, the dress, and the 2 arm bands.

Overall I am very pleased with Yandy and their huge selection of reasonably priced adult costumes. I am excited to wear my Sock Hop costume for Halloween this year. I think this costume suits me well. Now all I need is a jukebox and a T-Bird lol! So if you are looking for a awesome costume for yourself then you got to check out what Yandy has. You will be glad you did!

Nutrisystem Nation- Week 7

So its that time again for my weekly post about my Nutrisystem weight loss journey.Another week down yay! I am at week 7 wow did that week fly by. I must say this was like a break week for me I really honestly didn't eat much Nutrisystem stuff this week. Not that I splurge and ate huge amounts of foods high in fats and sugars because I didn't. Being on Nutrisystem for 7 weeks I have learned even when I don't eat Nutrisystem foods I still pick pretty health foods and portions. This was a hard week for me Nutrisystem wise because of doctors appointments and my daughters 7th birthday and party and my husbands birthday and family night. Plus tomorrow marks the 7 year anniversary of my nephews death as well so its been a crazy and tough week for me. Honestly I noticed I used to drown this week out with tears of joy and sadness along with lots of sweet foods and depression. I noticed when I am stressed or sad I tend to snack more. Since Nutrisystem I have learned snacking is OK if your snacking on the right foods and right portion sizes. My favorite snack lately has been raw sugar snap peas . They give me the crunch factor that I love and they are so tasty. I am also in love with Dannon light and fit coconut yogurt especially with apple slices. This week with 2 parties I only had 2 cupcakes and when we had pizza I got a very small slice and piled on the salad so I would fill up with the healthy salad and eat a little of the pizza. When we ate out for family night I got baked chicken instead of the greasy fatty foods. I am proud I was still able to eat right this week even if I didn't eat the Nutrisystem foods!
Exercise was a notta this week I was way too busy to do any thing this week. But at least I wasn't sitting around. I did alot of walking and I was always on my feet. So really that's exercise but just not my routine lol. This week is gonna be better as for today I already did my cardio workout so on the right track!

Results so far
Starting 130lbs
week 1 128lbs loss of 2lbs
week 2 126lbs loss of 2lbs
week 3 127lbs gain of 1lb still down 3lbs overall
week 4 126lbs loss of 1lb down 4lbs since started
week 5 124lbs loss of 2lbs down 6lbs since started
week 6 123.5lbs loss of 1/2 lb down  6.5 lbs since started
week 7 123.lbs no loss or gain down 6.5 lbs since started

So I didn't gain or lose this week even though I though for sure I gained 2 lbs with not eating what I was supposed to and those cupcakes ha ha but I was surprised I didn't gain anything. I was sad I didn't lose either but next week should be a less crazy and less emotional week and I will be back on track with a mission so watch out  I am back. I think everyone has a off week and this was that week for me  and now I am ready to get back on track!

8 o'clock coffee my new favorite and giveaway ends 10-14

Ok school has been back for about a month for me and I am still getting the hang of these crazy schedules. Getting up early to get kids to school and then picking them up laster as well and getting time at home to do my blog review and my own college homework has been pretty crazy. I get up around 7 AM then to bed lately around midnight or later. It is so hard to get motivated in the mornings. I have to get my morning coffee or else theres no way Ill make it through the day. Normally I am a huge Flogers fan but I got the chance to try out 8 o'clock coffee and I took it.

I got to bags of 8 o'clock coffee and a travel mug and a cute canvas bag to review and I was excited to try it. I was worried it would be too weak tasting for me or way too strong. I was also afraid it would have a funky taste like others I have tried. I brewed a pot and it smelled heavenly. It was definitely the wake up I needed lol. For the taste it was strong but not too strong. I loved it! It help give me my mojo to get up and get things done and had the great taste of coffee I love. I think I found a new favorite brand. I looked at Walmart to see prices to see how it compared to Folgers and I was pleasantly surprised to see it was about the same price and that maked me love it even more. Now I can get the great taste of coffee and get my sleepies out all at the same time. Thats a good thing for a busy crazy mom like me! Here is some back to school tips from 8 o'clock coffee.

“Back-to-School Survival Tips” from Eight o'clock coffee
TIP 1: Become Your Own Brewista – Save time, money and gas this back-to-school season by brewing your morning coffee at home. You can even set your coffee maker’s timer the night before to wake up to great-smelling Eight O’Clock Coffee.

TIP 2: Preplan Lunch – A few days before school starts, sit down with your kids and create a grocery list of healthy snacks and lunches they would like for school. Rotate each of their selections throughout the week. Make Tuesday “Turkey Tuesday” or Wednesday “Wrap Wednesday” – adding variety to keep lunch exciting. When possible, pack their lunch the night before to reduce stress in the morning.

TIP 3: Assemble Weekly Wardrobes – Every Sunday check the upcoming weekly weather forecast with your kids. Then, have them pick out five outfits for the upcoming school week. Hang them in daily order in their closet to avoid the inevitable, “Mom, I can’t find my favorite blue shirt!”

TIP 4: Be Prepared for School Projects – Avoid late night rushing around to complete school projects by having art supplies on hand. Create an arts and craft bin that includes more than just crayons and colored paper. Collect items like pipe cleaners, stickers, figurines, beads – even coffee beans – and other creative finds, and put the fun back in school projects.

Find us on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/EightOClockCoffee
Finds us on Twitter at:  @8oclockcoffee
Visit our website at: http://www.eightoclock.com/

So overall I loved it and would choose 8 o'clock coffee over my regualr brand. If you are a huge coffee drinker like me you have to try it. You will be glad you did!

Princess Beyonce
is a pretty great name, but we can see why the family changed her name to Hope.  We love unusual and fantastical names…from Apple to Pilot Inspektor, here are our top 10 unusual celebrity baby names complete with origin, background and meanings!
Moon Unit
With siblings, Dweezil, Ahmet and Diva, you know father Frank Zappa had out-of-this-world expectations for his daughter.  This original name means “one that orbits the moon”.
Pilot Inspektor
Jason Lee and Beth Riesgraf were inspired by the Grandaddy single, “He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s The Pilot” enough to name their song after the tune.
Sage Moonblood
Sylvester Stallone gave his son this name that alludes to and mystical forces and wisdom, and must have fueled Sage’s creative side as he is an actor, producer, writer and director.
Fifi Trixibelle
Paula Yates and Bob Geldof named their daughter after Bob’s aunt Fifi and Paula wanted a “belle” in the family.  Her siblings, Little Pixie, Peaches Honeyblossom and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily all enjoy just as exciting given names.
Moxie CrimeFighter
Comedian Penn Jillette named his daughter after the beverage Moxie, and CrimeFighter is derived from a line from one of his books.  The legacy will live on!
Apple
Gweyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin decided to name their daughter after a fruit because of the inherent sweetness, cleanliness and the lovely images the word conjures up in their minds.
Jazz Domino
Daughter of The Clash front man, Joe Strummer, Jazz is a proud feminist who loves crafting and was recently featured in Bust Magazine!
Petal Blossom Rainbow
Jamie Oliver and Jools kept the trend going after naming their first two daughters Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo.  Petal fits in with the floral themes; Blossom is “fresh”, while Rainbow is truly a “symbol of hope”.
Jermajesty
An heir to the Jackson kingdom, Jermaine’s youngest son will certainly be held in illustrious pop culture regard.

Nutrisystem week 6

So its that time again for my weekly post about my Nutrisystem weight loss journey.Another week down yay! I am half way through my Nutrisystem journey. 6 weeks in and 6 more weeks to go. I did really well with my eating this week but could of done better with added the vegetables and fruits in. I get full on the Nutrisystem entrees and then you add the vegetables, dairy or protein and your fruits and stuff I get too full. I have always been a small eater when it comes to meals. I also learned this week I get too busy for a afternoon snack so I decided to move my afternoon snack to a morning snack this way I don't completely skip that meal too.

My dislikes this week hmm well only thing I disliked this week was the Buffalo chicken wrap. I like alot more spice to mine and this just didn't do it for me. I loved the Nacho crisps and the Soy BBQ chips. I still in love with the fudge sundae and flat bread pizzas.

Exercise this week sucked. I had so many appointments for my oldest daughter and then school and soccer and everything else I had very little time to exercise other than stretches from time to time. So my goal is to exercise more even if it is just 5 to 10 minutes a day its something!

Results so far
Starting 130lbs
week 1 128lbs loss of 2lbs
week 2 126lbs loss of 2lbs
week 3 127lbs gain of 1lb still down 3lbs overall

week 5 124lbs loss of 2lbs down 6lbs since started
week 6 123.5lbs loss of 1/2 lb down  6.5 lbs since started

Not a huge weight loss this week but still Ill take it because any weight loss is better than no weight loss or a weight gain right lol. Now on to next week. I cant wait to see how next week goes!

Wholesale Costume Club review

Yes I am preparing already for Halloween. I mean about a week ago I walked into my local Walmart and there is Fall decorations out and Halloween candy already out. Yep I said it already! With 6 kids I cant afford to buy all their costumes at once so I buy like 2 month for the 3 months or so before Halloween. I was lucky enough to get the chance to review my sons Zombie Hunter Costume through Wholesale Costume Club.
He was so excited to look through the costumes and find one he likes. The boys costumes only when to like a 12 and we were worried they would be too small for my son since he is a big boy for his age so we decided to look through the mens costumes in small sizes. He knew he wanted to be a Zombie or something similar so when we came across the Zombie Hunter costume he knew that's what he wanted to be so we ordered that one. I was surprised for being a men's costume the reasonable price on it because last year I spent $50 on a mask for my husband and it wasn't even the whole costume lol.

I have say how fast the shipment arrived we ordered it and within 5 days we had it. I was shocked. I was also shocked how heavy it was. The coat very well made and thick. It also came with the tshirt which is a great tshirt and very good quality. It had like a fisherman style hat which was a little different then the picture which was the only thing my son was disappointed about. The axe and axe belt holder and the bullet sling all tough and wont break before Halloween which is great. Trust me my kids had a hay day chasing each other around with the fake axe lol yes my kids are weird haha. Overall I was very impressed with the quality of this costume. It wasn't a cheap costume that breaks before you get your wear of it. This one will last years!

So if you are like me you have to check out all the awesome costumes Wholesale Costume Club has to offer at great prices. Stock up now before all the good costumes are sold out!

Nutrisystem Nation- Week 5

So its that time again for my weekly post about my Nutrisystem weight loss journey. I am little over a month into the program on week 5. This week I really am proud of my self. I stuck to the diet with no cheating well other than one breadstick I stole from my kids lol but I work it off haha. This week I think after reading alot in my Nutrition homework book in college I am doing this semester I figured out my biggest problem was I wasn't eating enough calories for the extreme exercise I was doing so I put my body in starvation mode and that's why I felt tired, and hungry and wasn't losing anything. So to fix it this week and from now on I workout 30 minutes or so 3 times a week instead of daily since I am a active person as it is and burn alot of calories without exercising.

The food this week was alot easier. I got my new monthly shipment this week and I chose what I wanted in my order so I didn't have to worry about not liking something anymore. My typical Nutrisystem day of food consists of:
Breakfast: Nutrisystem scones or Oatmeal
Fruit- usually grapefruit or banana or apple
diary- usual;y low fat string cheese

Lunch:  Nutrisystem pizzas or ham and cheese  or etc.
Veggie- mostly mixed greens or iceberg lettuce
veggie- cherry tomatoes, or cucumbers or squash
          Diary-  low fat shredded cheese
          Low fat ranch dressing

Snack- Diary/protein- string cheese or low fat yogurt
            Fruit- apple or oranges

Dinner: Nutrisystem- Glazed chicken tenders or Pizza or turkey medallions
veggie- broccoli or green beans or carrots
2 more veggies- usually a salad with fat free dressing
Fruit- mixed fruit or mandarin oranges, pears or etc.

Dessert- Nutrisystem fudge bar, fudge sundae or Almond coconut bar

As you see there is alot of food to eat through out the day so I stay pretty full. I do have a hard time without my Carbs. I miss white rice and breads from time to time but working through it to get my body healthy again. Its been a long 5 weeks but I think I am actually getting the hang of it and it should be alot smoother ride now.

Results so far
Starting 130lbs
week 1 128lbs loss of 2lbs
week 2 126lbs loss of 2lbs
week 3 127lbs gain of 1lb still down 3lbs overall
week 4 126lbs loss of 1lb down 4lbs since started
week 5 124lbs loss of 2lbs down 6lbs since started

Overall still lost 6 lbs overall in 5 weeks and I am starting to see and feel a difference in my stomach and thighs. My pants are fitting alot looser and my stomach doesn't looks as much like I am 6 months prego anymore haha. Now I am excited to lose more in my waist and thighs. Now if I could get rid of my double chin but that I think is more heredity haha.

I tell my son that we do not go outside when someone is on the lawnmower. My best friend growing up had her Uncle accidently run over his grandson when he was on a big lawnmower & the child was in the hospital for a long time & still has health issues. The child was excited & ran to the grandfather who never saw him & backed over him.
