The new fad right now in toys for girls is the Zhu Zhu Pets. Over Christmas they were impossible to find sold out everywhere. There wasn't really anything for the boys though. I mean there are alot of boys that play with Zhu Zhu pets but they would really enjoy something more marketed for boys. Well now there is they are called Kung Zhu Pets. They are the boy version of the Zhu zhu pets.
What makes them different you ask? They are darker colored hamsters that also make sounds and move on their own. They have armor to put on and training stations and battle arenas. Everything a boy needs to have siblings or friends over and battle to see who's the strongest of them all. This is so cool I love the idea. Really there isn't much violence in them just cute little battle sounds (please don't tell my son I called his hamsters sounds cute haha). They are like little soldiers going out for war.
A little bit of background on the Hamsters from the site:
The Delta Forces tribe is made up of Rocko and Stonewall, who team up with Rangers Duke and Sergeant Serge. Also on the side of good are Kung Zhu Ninjas Drayko and Yama. While each of these hamsters have their own zany and determined personality, they join together with one goal in mind- to keep the no-good warriors from the Skull Tribe, Azer and Thorn, from wreaking havoc on the Zhu-niverse!
Our opinion on them, My son about die when he seen the big box filled with toys just for him haha well until the girls seen them and decided they liked boy toys too lol. He couldn't wait to get them open and set up the battle arena and the tubes and stuff. It does take up a lot of room but its well worth it when you watch them play for hours sending their pets through the tunnels to battle. The kids picked out their Kung Zhu pets and their armor and were ready to battle. All the boys in the neighbor hood couldn't wait to try them out. I think they are cute for all ages my 2 year old loves hers. They are great for both boys and girls because my girls have just as much fun with them as my son. This Christmas I know what will be on every boys Christmas list. At least I know they are a great fun toys that will last and they will enjoy for a long time. in the 3 weeks we have had them we have only replaced batteries once which is awesome. None of the accessories have broke another big accomplishment. I definitely recommend them to everyone. My husband even enjoys playing with them with the kids of course haha. So head out and stock up for Christmas I have a feeling these will be those hard to find items for the holidays this year.
We have one Kung Zhu pet, 1 armor and 1 training ground to give to a lucky reader

I loved my Baby Alive doll. Begged my mom for it and would carry it around wherever I went. It was my baby, I could feed her, change her, and she talked! Great toy.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm 50 yrs so my must have toy growing up was Barbie & Ken. My mom would sew and make me the wedding dress set and I loved playing with them. This is a wonderful toy giveaway my 6yr old grandson would love so thanks for the chance.
