Family game night with Nab-It! Review & Giveaway ends 1-21

Me and my husband are huge fans of Scrabble. When we get bored and the kids are in bed we pull it out and play us a game. Now Hasbro has come out with a twist on that classic game called NAB-IT! This has become are new favorite game to play together!

 The object of the Nab-It! is to link the double-sided tiles to create words by stacking tiles.  Steal words from other players, by having the top tiles. As the stacks get higher, control keeps shifting from one player to the next. It is fun and challenging. I love games like this!You can play with 2-4 players.  Each player gets a bag filled with 25 two-sided letter tiles in a select color, along with a gray “bank” tile.  Then form words by linking the tiles together.  When you ‘nab’ someone else’s word, you get to pull a tile out of your bag and “bank” it for points.  Play continues until all the tiles have been used.  Point scoring is figured out, by the tile that is the highest on the stack in each word.  If your colored tile is the one on top, you get a point!  Add those points to what’s on your “bank” tile, and whomever has the most points wins.

This game is recommended for ages 8+. Now I know my 8 and 10 year olds and even my 12 year old might have a tough time playing this game. Thinking of correct words and the rules I really think this is a great games for adults and teens with better word experience. I love the challenge of the game and it makes a great game for me and my husband or even when we have friends over for game night just adults you bet we will be playing this game.
