Intelligent First Aid kit review and giveaway ends june 10th

Being a mom to 6 kids and three of them have a bleeding disorder we try to always have some safety products around. I have a medical background and am going to finish my degree for nursing once my kids are in school full time. I love the medical area! I don't love having to use my medical experiences though when emergencies come up and I am definitely not a doctor so I tend to panic some times too. This is where Intelligent first aid and their amazing kits coming handy!

Why have a first aid kit around? Well emergencies happen all the time and especially when your not prepared trust me I know. 2 year ago I learned having a car safety kit is important too. My son who have a bleeding disorder cut two of his toes open at the water park and was gushing blood I had no bandages or gauze or rags or tape nothing. I did though have a feminine pad lol not my sons favorite thing to have wrapped around his toes but it soaked up the blood until we got to the doctors for his bleeding medicine and stitches. Now I always have a safety kit in the van and at home.

What makes Intelligent first aid kits so awesome? Well let me tell you! First off it comes in this nifty blue zipper bag to keep everything in one spot and doesn't take up much room. Secondly I love the handy dividers to divide each section. I love the individual bag for each type of emergency. The home kit includes Bleeding, Bones, Bites & stings, and Basic. The one thing that I love is you can get a talking emergency kit. This is so nice because when your panicking or someone else is helping it actually talks you through what you need to do in a calm voice. This is awesome! I also love you can buy replacement packs and other safety packs individually as well so you don't have to re buy the whole thing over again. I have showed this kit to everyone who will listen to me because I love it so much. My kids even know about it and what it is for and where it is located in case of a emergency. That is so important! I love this kit!

Just a little background on the company and products:

  64. I like the talking feature. I imagine in a stressful situation it would be quicker and easier to listen to instructions while you act rather than reading them and stopping every so often to do what you just read. I also like that the kits are lightweight.

By definition, first aid is the emergency care provided to an injured person prior to the arrival of professional medical services. A true first aid kit should be able to treat both common and emergency injuries, thereby containing the essential first aid supplies that go well beyond simple bandages and ointment. However, traditional first aid kits have a number of supplies, mostly related to cuts and scrapes and rarely have any instructional guidance

  87. I learned that the company believes that their kits themselves must assist the user to recall essential information, act as a prompt or stimulus to overcome hesitation, and guide the user through those situations and conditions which cannot be adequately duplicated in classical training settings.

  95. I like that you can create a Custom kit, I know my family would need tons of bandaids and ointment for scrapes and cuts while camping, but I'd keep the Aspirin away because I'm allergic!
