Proactiv review and giveaway ends 3-19-closed

So everyone hates breakouts. I know I do. I am lucky that I don't get alot on my face but when I do get them they are huge and seem to last forever. I do have alot of black heads on my face which I hate but I guess they are better the pimples right? With that said though my biggest pimple break outs are on my back and I must say it is awful. I hate my back showing with any clothing or anything. It is so greasy and gross. So when I had the opportunity to try out Proactiv I was like awesome! I have always watched the commercials on TV and the infomercials and wondered if the stuff really worked. Now I had the chance to find out.

So when It arrived I couldn't wait to check it out and see how it worked and how much work was involved. To my surprise It was a very easy system to use. 3 easy steps and that was it. 1 step is to clean your face with the renewing cleanser. This step was my favorite. It scrubs all the dead skin off and dirt off. I love the exfoliate in it and trust me it really exfoliates that's why I loved it. It left my back and face so smooth, clean and better feeling.

Next step which you do after you dry off your face or where ever you are using it is the Revitalizing toner. This helps your face feel refreshed. It is alcohol-free and helps remove impurities and excess oil so your skin looks and feels clean, and soft, not tight and dried out. It has soothing botanical agents that gently balance your skin tone which is awesome. This step you just wipe on your face or back with a cotton pad and let dry no washing off.

The last step of the Proactiv system is the Repairing treatment. This helps unclog the pores and get your faces healthier faster. It is gentle on the skin and leaves you feeling so clean. This step is like a lotion you put on last and leave on very simple and easy.

Now I must say it worked fine on my face but I did only use it once a day for about 4 days on my face and I can say my face feels soft , clean and rejuvenated. My back on the other hand which is the most place I wanted to use it I did it for 3 days and my back broke out in a rash and hives. Apparently I am allergic to it and had a reaction to the chemicals in it. My skin is really sensitive to alot of things like lotions, soaps, medications and even adhesives in bandaids. So yes I was very disappointed I couldn't use it for my back but I still feel this product is a great product.

I did let me hubby and mom use it and both of them been using it for over a week now and love it. They say it makes their skin softer and healthier looking. My hubby has noticed way less break outs since using it and I have noticed how great his face looks while using it. My mom said she loves the Cleanser step because it really gets rid of the dead skin. She said it feels like her skin is smoother and less black heads and her pores seem to be tightening up some already. They both have not had any reactions to it like me and think this is a great system. I believe in this product from the short time I got to use it and from seeing the difference in my hubby's and mom's skin. I would definitely recommend Proactiv for anyone that has stubborn breakouts and oily greasy skin. I know I will be getting this system for my kids when they get to adolescent age. My son already at age 9 has pimples and black heads so I trust this system enough to use it for him. So go check it out!
