Day 8 of the Back 2 School Blog Hop- Easy Lunchboxes review & giveaway ends 8-22

There are days when my kids really dislike school lunches and then there are days they love what they have. About 4 days out of the month sometimes more my kids take home lunch. This can be a pain in the butt thing to do because the food I make either doesn't fit in the containers I have or doesn't fit well in their lunch bags. I hate using so many baggies so I like to use plastic container. So when I heard about Easy Lunchboxes I thought I wonder if they are as good as people say they are. So I had to try them of course.

When it arrived I was excited to see how they worked. My daughter was just as excited haha. We got a Purple lunch cooler bag which is what my daughter picked out because its her favorite color. It reminded me of my oldest cloth and plastic ice cooler just smaller. It was perfect size to fit everything they need and want for lunch in it. We even used it for a picnic and I was able to hold two trays of food and 3 capri suns all in it easily and it stayed cold for hours. I love that it is washable and I could throw it in the washing machine when my kids get it messy.

We also got the compartmentalized food containers from Easy Lunchboxes a pack of 4 actually. These are a sturdy BPA free plastic. They are 3 compartments so if you have kids like me that don't like their food to touch. The compartments are perfect size as well. I put a whole sandwich in the big compartment and some sliced apples in the other smaller compartment and then I put some sticks of celery with peanut butter in the other one easily without trouble. Then it slid right into the cooler and then I was able to put a thermos of juice in it as well as a bag of chips and a ice pack plus a treat for dessert. Yes my kids are spoiled haha. It all fit and still was light to carry and stayed cool. I love that the containers are dishwasher safe and microwavable safe as well. My hubby even take these container to work with leftovers in it for lunch and just pops it into the microwave and done.
