Kubota's Farm Safety Tips for kids and giveaway ends 9-9

With school out and summer vacations in full swing, rural-American families are spending more time making memories outdoors and, in many cases, on a farm or ranch. Did you know that according to the Progressive Agriculture Foundation, each year an estimated 15,000 children who visit, live or work on farms or ranches are injured and more than 100 children die of agriculture-related injuries in the United States alone?

These statistics are simply too high, and Kubota is dedicated to helping families make sure those summer memories are as safe and happy as possible by offering “Kubota’s Farm Safety Tips for Kids” to help families start the safety conversation as early as possible. I think this is such a great thing. There are alot of farms around my house and alot of construction going on all over my state. I think it is very important to teach my kids safety around all this big machinery. Check out these awesome helpful tips to teach your children below! Plus you can find out more on http://www.kubota.com/

I tell my son that we do not go outside when someone is on the lawnmower. My best friend growing up had her Uncle accidently run over his grandson when he was on a big lawnmower & the child was in the hospital for a long time & still has health issues. The child was excited & ran to the grandfather who never saw him & backed over him.
