I love BBQ food. Its probably tied for 1st with Chinese food. The smell of the BBQ sauces and the seasonings are a heavenly smell. The best part is that it is so easy to make. Now the toughest part is finding a sauce to use. There are hundreds even thousands of sauces to BBQ with. One of my all time favorites is country bobs.

This sauce is so rich and flavorful. It is seasoned just perfectly for ribs, steaks, Pork chops, stews, meatball, and my favorite meatloaf. Gosh this sauce can be used for just about any food. country bobs sauce has a steak sauce/BBQ sauce taste to it and it is wonderful. I use it alot in my meatloaf and on my steaks.If you need more ideas on what to use it for they have a awesome cookbook too. I love their sour cream meatloaf recipe mm Yummy! You definitely sound try this sauce. Other great thing is Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce is Gluten Free. I can use this for my daughter since there is no milk products in it or oat products. It has a nice simple ingredient list which surprised me because of the awesome taste. I thought it would have alot of ingredients to make it so flavorful. There is also no fat or cholesterol in the sauce so its nice and healthy! So head over and check out country bobs sauce and their other products they are all great priced so you can stock up.

Country Bob Himself

Here is a yummy recipe you can use it for:

Slow Cooker Stew

Ingredients:
2 lb beef stew meat, diced into 1 inch pieces
1/4 cup Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce (or may substitute Spicy)
1 tsp herb seasoning
5 potatoes
4 carrots
1 yellow onion
3/4 cup tomato juice
1 (14.5 oz) can stewed tomatoes
2 fresh Jalapeno peppers, sliced into rings

Directions:
The night before, cut up potatoes and carrots and slice onions. Put all the veggies in a plastic container filled with water overnight. Also the night before, marinate the stew meat with Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce and herb seasoning in a plastic storage bag. Place in the refrigerator. In the morning, put the raw beef in the bottom of your crock pot. Drain the veggies and put on top of the beef. Pour in the stewed tomatoes and tomato juice. If you like your stew a little spicy, add a chopped Jalapeno pepper or two. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

How many of you hate hospital slipper and gowns? I know I do. Well did you know you can have your own gown and slipper and not wear theirs? I found this out just a few months ago. I immediately thought OK now where to get a cute, comfortable, gown for hospital stays. I thought this would be a great idea to give to my niece who is having her first baby in May. A nice hospital gown and slipper so she feels comfortable during her delivery and recovery and we all know anything that makes us more comfortable during that time is a blessing. Well I came across this awesome store called patientstyle.

They have some great gowns, slipper socks, nursing covers, swaddle blankets, robes and so much more. They even have men ones too. So if you have to have a hospital stay , i hope not, but if you do and don't want to cover your butt up every time you go potty or whatever lol this is the place to go. There is definitely something for everyone!

I got the most comfiest Slipper socks that are Chenille. They are the softest things ever. They are not itchy fuzzy like most. They are so smooth and soft it feels like your wear gel on your feet. It like a cushiony cloud and they keep your feet so warm. I love wearing them while I am on the computer since my feet get so cold. I love the slip guard thingies on the bottom to make sure you don't slip and bonk your noggin. They are Antimicrobial and help protect your feet so that is a plus too. These are the greatest slipper socks ever way better then the itchy hospital ones that fall off your feet and don't keep you warm. These stay put and you'll forget your even wearing them except for the warm soft feeling you'll have with these socks. These are a definite must have for home, hospital or when ever. I need to get another pair because i hate washing them because then I have none to wear :(.

Blogerversary/Valentines giveaway #8- 1800flowers end feb14

I got the Everlasting Love arrangement and it is gorgeous. I love flowers. They are absolutely stunning. It consists of red roses, lilies, delicate heather, bear grass and salal.This flower arrangement couldn't of been better put together and it just look so pretty on my dining room table. The best part is they are a week old and still thriving and they are so aromatic. My whole upstairs smells like flowers and pretty strong too. I also got Sweetheart Belgian Chocolate Covered Oreo Tin. Now me and my hubby are huge Oreo fans so this was right up our alley. They were yummy Oreos dipped in delicious chocolate and decorated with sprinkles and hearts. These were so good and the tin was so cute. I will definitely be saving it for other uses. These cookies are so pretty and yummy a definitely must have for Valentines , Birthdays, Anniversary and anytime.
Last but not least 1-800-Flowers sent me Cheryl&Co Dancing Hearts Cookie Gift Tower. So much for my diet ha ha with all these yummy goodies I pigged out. Now how many of you are like me and totally forget to water your plants and flowers? Now come one I know I'm not the only one! I swear they are right in front of my face on my window sill above my kitchen sink which I use a million times a day. I look at them a 100 times a day and still space it ha ha. Well Rock Concepts has come to save the day with the Singing Flower pot .

This special flower pot is the neatest invention for people like me. You plant your plant in this medium sized pot and then it has sensors in the bottom to let it know when it gets below 20% moisture and when it does get below that it start singing Raindrop keep falling on my head. It really is the cutest thing. Don't worry though it will not go off at night while your trying to sleep because it has another sensor to sense light or dark to know not to sing at night time. Thank goodness for me because that would be just my luck at 1 in the morning it would go off ha ha.

We are using this Singing Flowerpot for our spring flowers we have been growing since like October. We are trying to keep them alive til Spring so we can plant them outside. I have really dry skin on my heads and legs and feet. My baby girl does too. The problem is both of us have very sensitive skin that breaks out with lots of lotions. We both also have eczema which is so itchy and gross especially during the winter. So when Skin Md wanted me to try out their Skin MD Natural lotion I thought why not. As a family of 8 we don't eat out very often. One reason being its soo expensive and another it is hard to get healthy food and find food my youngest can eat. I prepare meals at home everyday which means alot of cooking and alot of wear and tear on my pots and pans. I got my pots and pans 7 years ago and they are garbage. That's what I get for buying a cheap set on clearance haha. I have been searching all over for good heavy duty pots and pan sets that will last a lifetime and honestly I haven't found much especially with my budget. So when Xtrema Cookware let me test out one of their 10" skillets I couldn't wait to see how they would work.

So when I received it I used it almost immediately. I have actually used it quite alot since receiving it. I have made Cheese steaks with melted cheese and cream cheese in it and it didn't stick and cleaned up easily. I made fried corn battered fish in it with just a little bit of oil and it didn't stick. It cook the fish evenly and to a perfect golden crust. The pan was still easily cleaned with just soap and sponge. I made corn bread in it in the oven. I sprayed lightly with butter spray and that's it and the cornbread came out perfect. It didn't stick and the corn bread was golden all the way through. The best part was I didn't even have to soak the pan for a hour like my other pans when I make cornbread to clean it. I just cleaned it up with the scrubby part of the sponge , some soap and water and done that easy.

The only downfall or could be a good thing is this pan is pretty heavy compared to most pans. I would say it is about the same heaviness as a cast iron pan. This pan has went far beyond my expectations. I love that it is scratch resistant, non stick and is so versatile. I love that it can go on the stove, in the oven and in the microwave. It truly is a all in one pan. Now I just need a few more to complete my cookware and throw my old ones away for good. I anticipate this pan lasting my lifetime easily. It is a wonderful pan!

Blogaversary/Valentines giveaway #2 Bacon Salt- ends Feb 14th

We love seasoned foods in our house. I think almost every thing is flavored somehow. So when I heard about Bacon Salt I was intrigued. We love bacon and I don't mean just love I mean really love bacon. I just hate all the grease, cholesterol, and bad stuff for us. With Bacon Salt we don't have to deal with all that but we can still have the great yummy taste of bacon.

Bacon Salt is so good on steak, chicken, fries, and pork. Yes I did try them on all those lol and I must say yum yum yum! The best thing is that this is easy to use and it really does good with everything . It is a season all seasoning. It has low sodium, no calorie, no fat and is vegetarian. I know go figure but hey it tastes like the real thing.

We also got to try out Baconnaise. It is a bacon flavored mayonnaise that is awesome on sandwiches. Honestly it even makes yummy deviled eggs. It has a great smoky bacon taste to it. It isn't to over powering just perfect and yummy. Baconnaise is really low in sodium and you can get it in regular or light versions.

The next thing we got to try was Bacon Pop. Yes a bacon flavored popcorn. Interesting but we did add more butter since we are butter lovers in this house also. It didn't have alot of bacon flavor like it smelled like it would but the kids downed it as a after school snack.Bacon Pop is low in fat and has no cholesterol so in general a pretty healthy snack. Who doesn't love that??

Next up is the Bacon Ranch and this is one of my favorites other than the Bacon Salt. I mixed a package of this with a 16oz tub of sour cream for a die for dip. It was just enough of the smoky bacon taste and the ranch flavoring to make one of the best dips I have ever had. This would be great for your Superbowl Party. Bacon Ranch is a must try if you ask me.

Another thing we got to try out was the MMMvelopes. Now how many of you that the nasty taste of licking the envelopes. I know I do. Well with these envelopes that is a thing of the past. hey have a slight bacon taste to them to make it so much more intriguing to lick those envelopes now. It is one of those things you must try and share ha ha.

Last But not least we tried the Bacon Lip Balm. Hmm this would make a great gag gift ha ha. It was a strong bacon smell and a slight taste of it too. My son loved it. The rest of us thought whoa to much for us. It did soften my lips and keep them moisturized for a long time and my sons chapped lips are no more. So it works great but I couldn't get over the smell. I love bacon but this is a little much.

So Overall We loved the Bacon Salt Products and will be buying more. I actually found out that Smith Marketplace near me carries most of these products which is awesome. Now I can get them when ever I need and want them.

It time to Celebrate

Can you believe Mommies Angels has been open a whole year? I cant. This year went by so fast and we have grown so big I love it. I love all my dedicated readers. You guys are awesome!!!

So to celebrate we will be having some awesome giveaways and reviews for the bloggerversary and for Valentines. Its a time for love and friendship and that's just what Mommies Angels represents and so does its readers. The events will kick off Feb. 1st so make sure you come and celebrate with us and I hope we have many more years to celebrate too and lots of new readers.
