Golden Moon Teas review

So I mention in a previous post that I was getting a change to try out Golden Moon Teas. I love teas on a cold evening. Best of all I loved herbal and flavored teas. I had a hard time choosing which teas I was going to try with their huge selection of teas and they all sounded so good. Eventually I did and this is what I chose: Tippy Earl Grey, Vanilla Jasmine, Sugar Caramel Oolong, Coconut Pouchong and White Licorice. I think I pick some great ones to try.

So when they got to my house I found out they were looses teas and I didn't have the tea seaper or anything so I finally figure out a way to try them. I used a coffee filter and a twisty tie and made my own tea bag. Ha ha I know not the best way but hey it worked.

The first tea I tried was the traditional Tippy Earl Grey. It was a great tea, very robust and perfect for a breakfast tea. It was a perfect blend and tasted great. If you like simple black tea you will love the Tippy Earl Grey tea!

The next one I tried was the Vanilla Jasmine. At first I was sure if I would like it especially if it was to floral tasting but it wasn't. It had a great vanilla taste to it and tasted like a normal tea. I really enjoy this one cold. Definitely gonna be a favorite iced tea for me and my kids in the summer. I loved that it was a green tea which is my favorite kind of tea. Green tea is so good for you.

Next up was the Sugar Carmel Oolong. This one was a sweet green tea with great flavor and smell. This is a very mellow tea for people , like my mom, that have weak stomachs to certain teas and coffees. Definitely a great tea to curl up with and read a book.

Next was my all time favorite of all the teas Coconut Pouchong tea. MMM I love coconut and this tea was delightful. The smell of coconut was heavenly. The taste of the coconut wasn't overpowering and was so yummy. This tea was also awarded Best tea of 2007 at the world tea expo and now I know why. I would vote for it to be the best tea of all time. It is a green tea and is so smooth and flavorful you will definitely fall in love with it. This one is great hot or iced. I am definitely going back for more of this one!!

Last was the White Licorice tea. I have always loved black licorice even as a child so this tea was right up my alley. This one is a white tea with a hint of Star Anise. It is a wonderful flavorful tea. A very light tea and great on the stomach. I had this one when I had a migraine and my tummy was upset and this settled it right down and calmed me. I absolutely adore the smell and the taste. Such a unique and perfect tea.

There is still SO many more tea I yet to try at Golden Moon Teas but as for now I definitely recommend you trying out there awesome teas. You will be pleasantly surprised with their selections and the taste and freshness of their teas. So head over and check them out!

Thermafuse review

After perming my hair 2 times in 2 weeks and multiple other things in previous other years my hair is really damaged and unmanageable. I hate how frizzy it is and falls out in handfuls. I have tried multiple products and nothing helps or they help for a bit then wear off. So when I got a chance to test out Thermafuse Eight Elixir I was excited.

A little about Thermafuse's Eight Elixir: It is a spray on miracle fix for your hair. It contains a non pathogenic bacterial culture that rapidly digests compounds such as detergents, greases, proteins, sugars, starches, and cellulose. It removes build-up. It clarifies your hair prior to perming. It volumizes thin hair. It eliminates chemical odors. It equalize porosity. It detoxifies and removes organic stains. So to sum it all up it a miracle in a bottle.

So when I received Thermafuse's Eight Elixir, that night I got a bath and decided to test this baby out. I wash my hair like normal and then sprayed this all over my hair and then let it sit for 10 minutes. Then I rinsed it off and got out and towel dried my hair. When my hair was completely dry I already noticed a difference. It wasn't as frizzy and it usually was. It was soft and shiny. It felt light and clean. I love the way it smelled and the way it left my hair feeling. I use this every other wash and so far my hair seem and feels alot healthier. I love that you don't need alot so one bottle will last a while. I love that it protect your hair from heat styled hair.

I think this is a great product to keep in every ones bathroom. It will be a savior to your dry damaged hair. So head over to Thermafuse and check it out and all of their other styling products, shampoos and conditioners. I am sure you will love their products!

Pampers Free Samples and the Olympics

We all know our babies are champion when it comes to us so to celebrate the upcoming Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Pampers® Diapers has partnered with Team USA to introduce new Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers Diapers with Dry Max, the brand's new high performance diapers sure to earn gold with world-class "players" - babies.

The babies of Team USA athletes will be equipped with the new Pampers Cruisers Diapers with Dry Max as they head to Vancouver. In honor of these athletes and their families, Pampers has created specially-branded Team USA diapers with the Dry Max technology. Although these limited-edition Team USA diapers will not be for sale, parents all across the country can buy Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers Diapers with Dry Max for their best players in the world in March. In the meantime, parents can request a free sample three-pack of the new Cruisers diaper on Pampers.com starting January 29th. If this sample includes a Team USA diaper (they will be randomly inserted in select sample packs), their baby will win a year's supply of Pampers Cruisers Diapers with Dry Max.

Now how would that be to win a years supply of diapers. I know I could use them right now. Plus I know alot of people who could. So make sure you head over and get your sample pack before they are gone and for your chance to win.

Plus keep a eye out right here on Mommies Angels for a upcoming review of Pampers New Cruisers Diapers with Dry Max. I am excited to test these diapers out because I have been having alot of issues lately with diapers leaking during the night and day. I have tries generic and name brands and have seen no difference yet so I am hoping to change that with these diapers. If they do as well as I am told they do I will be a dedicated customer. So you will see it here first whether they are my saving grace of diapers or not. There will even be a giveaway. I am excited!!
A little more about Pampers and the olympics:
To bring to life the incredible passion, endurance and ability babies demonstrate daily in the sport of play, Pampers Diapers has directly teamed with two world-class athlete families who are among the first to receive the special-edition Team USA diapers: Olympic gold medal speedskater Chad Hedrick and his family, and skeleton (forward-facing luge) World Champion and Olympic Hopeful Noelle Pikus-Pace and her family. These athlete families will be sharing their Vancouver experiences from their babies' point of view throughout the Olympic Winter Games via photos and videos on Pampers.com.
Babies' passion and dedication to play demonstrates that they are some of the best players in the world. Did you know that a cruising baby in one day can take as many steps as a marathon runner in a race, and a nine-month old baby can crawl up to 400 meters in 20 minutes? It's this active play that continually inspires the Pampers brand, and that's why moms and dads are encouraged to log on to Pampers.com beginning February 12 to join in celebrating the development of their own best players. Parents will have the ability to upload a video of their baby crawling from left to right, and randomly selected videos will be compiled into a Pampers Cruisers Diapers with Dry Max "Baby Relay" commercial which will air during closing day of the Olympic Winter Games, giving babies a chance to showcase their own playful ability in the same forum as the most elite athletes.

there.

that you once got from a roller coaster.
5) It's frustrating when you know all the answers but nobody bothers to
ask you the questions.
6) Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician

Soft scrub is awesome!!!

Soft Scrub Captain Toolkit

So I got chosen to be a Soft Scrub Club Captain and boy was I excited! I get the chance to try new products before it is released to the public and give my feedback. That is awesome! With 6 kids 11 and under and a hubby my house needs alot of cleaning and alot of supplies to do this multiple times a week. So anything that makes that easier and cheaper for me is a blessing. Honestly I must say I have spent countless dollars and wasted alot of money on products that didn't work or that killed my lungs. Then when I would find products I liked they turn around and discontinue them. WTH!!

So when the first products arrived last week I was excited to see if this was gonna be one i would like or not. It was Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner. It says well that is could do every job in the bathroom with this one cleaner. Hmmm we will see about that I thought. This was perfect timing too. I have been slacking in the bathroom area lately. So all 3 bathroom were pretty gross. Well what better way to see if this worked then trying it on a very dirty bathroom. Right?

So Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner has two ways of working. First you can close the flap on the nozzle for a foam spray for like the tubs and toilets and you can flip it over and hold it upside down and spray under the toilet rim and it continues to work, by the way that is a one of a kind feature I haven't seen on any other product ever. The second way is to flip the flap open and it spray a mist over areas, like for counters, floors and mirrors.
Before
After

I first did my bathroom. Yuck I must say since my hubby shaves in the sink there is always hair all over the sink and shaving cream, such a slob. The mirrors are always water spotted. The tub is always filthy greasy and dirty and hairy and don't get me started on the tile floors ewwww! I first used the foam spray to spray the tub toilet and sink and while that soaked I sprayed the counters and top of toilet. The counters wiped clean with ease and looked squeaky clean. The toilet I was able to scrub and get off all the stains and bring back its white shine. I loved that. The tub was what I thought my trouble area was going to be. Ha ha was I wrong. I easily wiped all the filth from the tub with no elbow grease or scrubbing. The tub was sparkling white and all the spickets on the tub and sink were sparkling chrome and I could see my face in them.
Before
After

The last two things I used it for was the mirror and I used the spray for this and then I wiped off with a hand towel and no streaks, just shine. That is awesome! Then I swept the floor and then sprayed a fine layer of the cleaner over the floor and wiped up with a rag and it cleaned up the dirt, grime, and residue perfectly. This really is a all in one product. I was excited about doing the other two bathrooms after seeing what it did to my bathroom. I cleaned all three bathrooms in less then 30 minutes and they were all sparkling clean and smelled awesome. I love this stuff. I cant wait to buy more and to try the kitchen kind too.
Before

After
I think you will all love Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner. Its a definitely must have for everyone. So keep a eye out for it in stores every where soon. http://www.softscrub.com/

how old is the right age??

So my 5 year old got her first invite to a kid from Headstart birthday party. She wants to go but it is Friday at the girls house for 2 hours. I don't know the girl or her family and this is the girl that at headstart Brea was playing with and the little girl yanked her arm out of socket. She seems like a highly energetic child from what I have seen when I drop off and pick up my daughter. I mean it is cute and a milestone. Her first friend birthday invite. Still I don't like the idea of dropping my daughter who is only 5 at some persons house for 2 hours. I mean if It was at a park or some place more public I would stay with my other kids and just keep a eye out but its not. I was thinking of just sending her to school with a present and call it good. My other kids have never went to a friends birthday party alone until at least 1st grade unless I knew the kid and parents or it was at a park and I stayed with my other kids playing at the park. I mean yes I do send out invites to my kids school friends but usually not until 1st grade. It is family and close friends before that age. Then to this year when my my oldest turned 11 she wanted a sleepover party and I was hesitate because of these same reasons parents are like me they will say no or be scared to send them I gave in and we did it but as I thought no one showed up so we had a regular party the next day and some showed up. I know it sucks since when we were kids friends came over , spent the night, stayed all day, had fun but really this day and age it is too scary to let your kids out of your sight well at least for me it is lol!

So what is your guys opinions or rules at your house about friends parties? Do you think I am wrong for this or in this day and age is it right to be this way?

Rich's review

As most of you know my baby girl has allergies to Oats, Milk, Lactose, Casein, Whey, Cream and anything that contains anytime of a milk or milk protein. It has been tough to find alot that she can eat unless I make everything from scratch. I am daily finding more and more she can eat but it is still a challenge. So when I heard about Rich's products being milk and dairy free I had to try it.

I got Rich's Richwhip non dairy whip topping to put on some fruit for her and jello and she loved it. She always sees the kids with whip cream or ice cream and she can never have any so she felt included with this and it was a awesome feeling. I actually used it for all the kids and they could not tell the difference. They actually started to gripe at me about giving it to Destiny because "mom Des cant have cream she is lerrgic." Haha I had to tell them that only this kind is OK she can have it. It was cute that they care enough to gripe at me.

The only thing that is hard for me is to get Rich's brand product the closest store that carries it is Sunflower in Orem which is about a 20 minute drive from my house. But for holidays and birthdays it is worth the drive to get her something she can have to be included in the festivities. I definitely recommend all Rich's products to anyone who is lactose intolerant or allergies to milk products. They not only have whipped topping they have coffee creamer, pre whipped topping and then the whipped topping. So check them out. If you want to see if Rich's products are at a store near you go to their website and their is a product locater.

Im still here

Sorry on the delayed posts I am really going to get more posts up. The kids have been off for 3 days now and driving me insane. If I had a laptop I would lock myself in the bathroom for a hour but I think after 10 minutes my mind would get to me wondering how bad the kids have trashed the house and I really dont feel like cleaning so ya I think I better go check on them haha. Yes I have cleaned house everyday from thurs to today and to me it is still trashed what the heck. Thank goodness school starts back tomorrow. The weather man is calling for rain and snow all week which really doesnt make me happy at all. Then to top it all off I have to take another medicine daily with my other medicines I take daily along with 2 tablespoons of this nasty syrup medicine 2 times a day and it is aweful. The 2 new medicines have giving me a terrible migrane since I started them over a week ago and I have been very nauseas. These medicines have gave me the whole all day morning sickness feeling and I dont like it. I wish it would hurry up and dissolve these darn stones so I can pass them and be done with it.

Well all the screaming and noise in my house has just turned to uddered silence so I take that as my que to get off the computer and go see now what else the little monsters ( I mean Angels) are getting into now and how many more mess I have to now clean up. So long for now but I WILL BE BACK!! Promise
