We bake alot during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love these two holidays because I get to cook for my family and have family get togethers. We bake cakes for these holidays as well as birthdays and I have always wanted to make layered cakes but it is so hard to get a nice even slice through a cake well until now. My opinion:
I immediately took it out of the box to check it out. I those it reminded me of the springform sides of the pans. It has all different areas to slice at so you can do thick layers or thin layers or whatever. I was very easy to use just slide on and slice and done. It made slicing nice even layers alot easier then free handed. I cant wait to make jam filled and cream filled cakes this season. This will get alot of use that's for sure. So much for my diet ha ha!
