Glasses Usa review

As I nearsighted, farsighted and I have focusing issues I am supposed to wear eyeglasses at all times. Well actually I'm supposed to wear bifocals but I cant stand bifocals so I just have regular glasses to see all the time and reading glasses when I read. Glasses are so expensive these days and on top of that you got the eye exam and etc. that makes the bill just outrageous. I don't have insurance and so we cant afford them. Only my kids have insurance so me and my hubby get looked over when it comes to glasses, dentist, doctors and etc. Well Glasses USA gave me a pair of their glasses and I was shocked! I was excited to get me a pair of glasses I like and that made be able to see clearly again.
I was surprised when I got to check out their selection of Prescription glasses, there were soo many great frames! The best part they were all reasonable too. I mean I could actually afford to get a pair that was a great relief. I decided to get plastic frames since the nose pieces on regular metal frames hurt my nose and give me a sinus headache. The plastic frames lucky don't have them ha ha. I was actually think before hand plastic frames are so big and ugly and that I'm not sure if I was going to like any of them. Boy was I wrong that has some awesome frames and all so cute! I got the Hilarie black frames and I love them. They aren't to bulky and I love the shape. They are so light and feel great on. I can see great again without squinting and nothing is blurry. I even can wear them with being on the computer with no glare or distorting which is great because 80% of my work is on the computer.

If you need eyeglasses frames you should definitely check out Glasses USA they are awesome! The customer service is awesome and people there are so wonderful and nice and not to mention helpful. I have learned so much and found so many awesome stores with this back to school event and here is one of my favorite, O'Bon. With the world the way it is now we are all trying to find ways to save our precious earth and back to school we are shopping for alot of paper products, pencils, tissues and etc that you wouldn't think would save our planet . With O'Bon that is different! All of O'Bon's products are made from recycled and Eco friendly products. That leaves me feeling awesome and like I am doing my part.

O'Bon has everything you need for back to school. Some of the things we got to try was the notebooks made from sugarcane paper, recycled white card ink and is soy based. They have the cutest styles too with bright colored fruit or bird feathered prints and I must say they are gorgeous. We also got to try out their 1 inch binders made from recycled gray cardboard. They are tough and stylish. You would never tell any of the stuff is made from recycled products.
Now O'Bon is famous for their pencils! Why you ask because they are too made from recycled products. They are made from recycled newspapers. That is just cool! They actually take a piece of graphite and wrap the newspaper around the graphite 48 times which protects the graphite better than wood making a longer lasting pencil. When I opened these you would think it was wood. The are hard and sharpen easily with no evidence it is made from paper. We got the Newsprint style pencils, the wildlife style pencils ( my son has tooken these over), the rainbow style pencils (which is my daughters favorite), the L'Artiste art Pencil(my oldest favorite since she love to sketch) and the Wildlife & O'BONanza color pencils( another family favorite with all the coloring going on in this house). They truly are the world's greatest pencils! Honestly I think they are my favorite thing ha ha. It just blows me away all this cool stuff is saving our earth and is so gorgeous. I am now and forever be coming back to O'Bon for my kids school needs!

Glasses Usa Giveaway ends sept 10

With back to school right around the corner its time to think about you, your spouses, and your children who wear eyeglasses . Starting school with last years or the year before glasses might not work. We are technically supposed to get a eye exam every other year or every year depending on your doctors. Mine like to check every year. In our family my husband, me, and my two daughters all wear glasses. My son and oldest used to wear glasses for reading but have now grew out of them which is awesome. I know many people don't think about eye exams until there is a problem but you really should have check ups with a optician even if your eyes are great just to keep them great!

It has been a year since my last exam and I haven't been able to wear my Prescription glasses because they hurt the bridge of my nose. There are so many different tools you can use. Honestly in 2 weeks of using it I have not got through all the different tools yet but it is my goals to try all of them! Some of my favorites so far are the Express lab so I can whiten teeth, remove blemish, sharpen fuzzy pictures, straighten the photo and more with just this one feature. I like clone tool so I can take annoying passerbys out of my pictures or ugly objects out. Other feature I absolutely love since I love creating collages and scrapbook pictures is you can take photos and create one of a kind collages with frames, photo affects, words and etc and you can add text bubbles to pictures and add objects. My kids even like making their own masterpieces it really is that easy. You can change the color of a object in your picture like say your kids is wearing a red shirt well you can change it to a white shirt which is so cool.

This is one of my favorite photo programs that I have and use on every photo shoot I do. I recommend it for anyone with pictures!

Corel Home Office

Now I love Corel products! I love anything that makes my time on the computer easier so I don't try and throw it out the window lol. It basically is made up of 3 programs. The first is Corel Write. It is great to great and edit documents, letters, reports and etc. I use it a lot to type up these reviews because of the auto spell feature that helps with misspelled words and if it get typing to fast and add a letter that needs not be in there it lets me know. My kids use it to type letters and book reports. I love all the features and how easy it is to use.

The second one is Corel Calculate. I use this with my bills, my photography business and more. It is great for managing any number issues in your household. It creates Macros, pivot tables, spreadsheets, etc. This is also great for kids in high school when they need to graph tables and spread sheets.

The last program is Corel Show. I reminds me of power point in a way. You can create great slide shows and presentations with this great program. We plan on using this with my daughters reports. Office Max organization tips

My back to school quests!

So with 6 kids 5 which will be in school next year I am counting my pennies while shopping hitting Walmart, target, Old Navy , Burlington, and Ross. They all have great clearances! Also for supplies Office max is my favorite deal place!

So Ive got my list narrowed down to these things:

I know that sounds like alot but you figure my 7 year old clothing and shoes wise is done! My son clothing wise done! I got 2 outfits each for my 3 and 4 yr old! I got 2 t shirts for my oldest daughter. I got notebooks, paper, folders, pencils, pens, pencil sharper, binders, etc. I got shoes for my 4 year old! I got tissues at walmart, Pencil top erasers and I gotsocks on clearance at walmart 1.50 a bog of 10 for all the kids.

Also9 from the simply chic collection we received the 80 page notebook and it is so yellow my favorite color. It is perfect for writing assignments down, schedules and etc.

Next we got the Composition book from the Whimsical Flower collection which is another one of my favorite collections. This book will get used alot for writing those spelling words every night! Study study study! Also from the Whimsical Collection we received the 2 pocket folder which is necessary for my kids at their school because this because their homework folder one side homework to do and other side homework done. So this is great and adorable.

Tasty Tuesday- School lunch edition

Two-Tone Sandwiches

Surprise your kids on the first day of school with this too-cool-to-trade lunch idea.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
2 slices of bread (one white and the other whole wheat, roughly the same size)
Cookie cutters, 1 large and 1 small (ours measure 3 1/4 inches for the hand and 1 1/2 inches for the heart)

Directions:
1. Set the 2 slices of bread on a cutting board. Cut out the centers of each with a large and a small cookie cutter.
2. Swap the center cutouts, so the wheat bread has a white bread design and the white has the wheat, then assemble your sandwich.

We Got the chance to watch PBS new show before they were out and I was super excited. So were the kids! We received two Sid the Science Kid DVD's, Change Happens and The Bug Club as well as a DVD from the show Dive Olly Dive - Ship Shape Sub.

My kids don't watch a whole lot of TV . We limit it to 2-3 hours a day at max. Plus I don't like alot of the garbage that is on right now so I prefer them to watch Noggin or Disney or Cartoon Network and PBS. I love Sid the Science kid because it is educational too and the kids learn from them. Anything educational I am totally into now a days. Even video games I try to buy educational ones ha ha. My kids all knew Sid before the movies arrived and were so excited to get them and watch them. They love the music and dancing. The older ones loved all the neat experiments but now I got to do experiments with them. Hopefully the house will stay in one piece ha ha.
Dive Olly Dive I had no idea who that was but he was cute. We sat down to watch it and the character was adorable and fun and colorful which is a plus. The episodes were fun, excited and the kids enjoyed it. It is a new favorite at our house.

Bumkins back to school event review and giveaway

With school starting in a matter of weeks we are trying to get everything in order to make their first day perfect and the rest of the year fun! 5 out 6 of my kids will be in school next year. Wow its gonna be quiet here lol! But since this isn't my first time with back to school I kind of know what my kids need and don't need. Trust me it was a hard lesson to learn but I think I got it down well until they hit junior high and high school and wait college then I got to learn all over again. But for now we are stocking up on there necessities.
